The finished line art for a revisit of the speed painting I did just about 5 years ago.
I always thought what this picture would look like had I approached it with the level of detail and care that I give my larger landmark pieces such as Monsoon Season. And so far, here's the result! I'm working on the color phase right now, but I like the look of this as just lines, so I wanted to share with you guys. I haven't decided what I want to do character wise in this piece, which is why Maia's not there right now.

(Because I would inevitably be asked: if you'd like to use this for personal coloring/painting/lighting practice, obviously feel free. But I will ask that you don't post it.)
How do you get your lines to be so clean? It's beautiful.
I wish i could live in Aricee.. *sigh*
That is some drop dead gorgeous line work man.
oh interesting! thanks for posting!
This is so lovely and detailed, but there's a "but" that cracks the realism of this scene. The stairs are pretty much unclimbable, there should be at lice twice as many treads- compare to the size of the bin
Amazing! How do you do such clean, straight lines?
Ugh, you know this has always been my favorite work of yours. Definitely psyched to see you revisit it!
Looks really tight man. I look forward to seeing the color version!
i love your drawings!!!!!!
Wow! That's truly amazing Matt! I love every architectural piece of your Synthesis project c: Can't wait to see more, thanks for your inspiration!^^
