This is a high resolution remake I did of a background from the Cowboy Bebop episode Jupiter Jazz part 2. A screenshot I took of the original background [can be seen by clicking right here.]
This was some good practice I decided to do while re-watching the series recently. It was a ridiculous amount of fun to remake, especially with that huge cloud layer backdrop, which I painted entirely with a full soft round brush. Even the fence up front was done with a soft round brush, ( it was not filtered with gaussian blur!) I might do others to try to understand more about what goes into backgrounds like this.

Photoshop, Cintiq 21UX, 4~5 hours.

I like how you dont use the gaussian blur filter to get that effect on the fence. Good work. Btw, Cowboy Bebop > everything else.

I really like this, if you don't mind critique however...

The clouds are not done as well as they could be. The composition is off and the "layers" are too strong, it doesn't properly blend into the lighter colors going into the background.

Really nice picture, would like some desktop sizes for a background!
