Photo Collection 2012 Q3-Q4 by fox-orian Photo Collection 2012 Q3-Q4 by fox-orian
As you may already know, I continue to practice photography all the time. Anywhere I go, I tend to have one of my cameras with me. This is a collection of some photos I've taken in the later half of 2012.

Each photo has a colored dot in the top left corner designating which camera was used for it. I no longer have my NEX-5N, as I sold it at the end of last summer in order to upgrade to the Sony Alpha SLT-A77, and picked up an RX100 to replace my PowerShot G12. (I used to have an EOS 40D + G12 combo. Traded it all in for an Alpha A77 + RX100 combo. If I was gonna go Sony, it would be full Sony.) Also, yes, for those not familiar, the Canon AE-1P is a 35mm film camera I got off eBay in brand-new condition for about $60. Check it out, the camera is older than me and looking damn fine. All AE-1P photos were taken with Kodak Color Elite 400.

Compared to my previous photodumps, I'm experimenting much more with post-processing. Today's universal tonal choice: cyan.

Oh and want to see something else? Check out my post "What's in my Camera Bag" on my Tumblr!

Has Super 88 always been that small? T.T

Also, that's one heck of a skyline

I love these - I also love how we kind of see your view of the world and where you draw your inspiration :) It feels more like these pictures are based off your illustrations than the other way round, if that makes sense haha. For some reason the cafe one is my favourite!

Hmm.. some of the shots look weak to me. I think there is too much quantity. It if were only the good shots it wouldbe bad ass. I love the composition, but the specialness and emotions are missing in some. The 5th photo is amazing (top to bottom, left to right), however, the 8th one (of the bus stop) looks like an illustration composition, not something for a photograph.

But thatīs just my opinnion, and my photographs arenīt that great either but I hope this helps

(oh yeah not to say you're wrong with what you were saying :) it's just, none of these were trying to be any more than exactly what they depict, is all :) Some day I do want to start taking pictures with an actual feel of story behind them.)
