Work in progress for a background in Synthesis :)

Not all of the backgrounds will be quite as detailed as you see here. This is a sort of master background, that's used in larger panels, and will likely be used more than once since it could be a minor re-occurring location.

This drawing stemmed from a one hour speed paint seen here: [link]
Barrel distortion was added after the speed paint was finished, which I used as a guide to draw the distortion in the drawing.

Could you tell me a bit more about that software your using? Synthesis was it? I tried to google a bit about it but fount nothing relevant about it ...

synthesis is not a software, it's his comic. The software he uses is photoshop, though I don't know if it's CS3, CS4, or CS5 ^^;

Do you use curves in your digital perspective? Yu told me thats how she does it and I was all "sunnofabitch why didnt I think of that?"

I was using a massive canvas and in-picture guidelines like a complete moron.
