Artist's Comments

The second in this little CG-Console series I got going here.

This was done in about 3 to 4 hours of work. It's all original, including the Dolby, DTS, DVD, and DISC logo's on the top of the ps2. Most of it was vector, done in Illustrator. The rest of it was Photoshop. I Used no photo reference, [as evident, there are quite a few inaccuracies in size.] I just took my PS2, stood it on top of my monitor, and drew it from there. Heheh, overall, for a spur-of-the-moment CG, I rather like the outcome.
Too bad I accidently flattened the image then saved it... That limits my ability to edit it in the future,,, heheh.

Hehe, nice take on the console. Good call- does look like an obelisk after all, of you put it that way. X) Fine job with the logos and various dinkythings. Love how the shadows define the background.

Wow, I tohught this was a photo from the preview! I'm really loving the shades of this piece, you've caught the look of the PS2 exactly, as you have with the blue logo ;-)

The logos are perfect and the perspective is spot on, great POV for the viewer. Also, the reflection looks stellar, I really feel like faving this (my first fav in ages!)
