Here's my filled out Influence Map. I made this meme up because it was just itching at the back of my mind while at work the other day. I mostly just wanted to do it for myself, but hey, decided to might as well turn it into a meme as well, since it seemed like a meme-ish kind of thing.

I suppose between Eva and FLCL, you could say Gainax in general highly inspires me.

Also I'm sure many of you are absolutely not surprised to find Mirror's Edge as a 2x2 block. But if you are surprised it's not the 3x3 block -- believe me, my own home of Boston is my largest source of inspiration on a day to day basis :)

This also reminds me that I need to look more at Feng Zhu's work for my environmental stuff here and there. I'm lacking in some good inspiration there, lately.

Oh also, for those who can't easily tell -- that block below Solanin is for the band M83 -- not EXCLUSIVELY for their album "Before the Dawn Heals Us," but I would say that album is their most influential for me. (Truth be told, I'm a big fan of the shoegaze genre.)

Edit: Updated "BEYOND" to include The Animatrix logo. Forgot some people might not be familiar with THAT specific episode from the series.

Anyway, do it for yourself! It can come in good use when you run into a block :)
